The Role:
Line Leaders are responsible for ensuring the team operates within the
quality and hygiene standards of both the company and the customer at all
times. They must also ensure the correct specifications and production targets
are met.
The role requires effective communication across departments to ensure
our dispatch function operates efficiently, following Company procedures and
best practices.
The Candidate:
Experience within food production.
Experience in managing and monitoring
a team.
Proficient in Office and Excel.
Good oral and written communication
skills.
Detail orientated.
Good understanding of production
processes (company training provided).
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure company and customer paperwork is completed to
required standard
Liaise with other production departments to ensure
company requirements are met.
Ensure the team carry out their roles effectively and
efficiently in accordance with training.
To carry out all checks and processes that are relevant
and report and deviations.
To be responsible for controlling, monitoring and
minimising waste.
Monitor and record the required frequency relevant
checks e.g, weight checks, ph, labelling and coding and actioning any
deviations in line with procedure
Monitor and record at the required frequency all
product temperatures from raw materials, pre-process, post process, final
packed product and distribution reporting and actioning any deviations from the
specification.
Carrying out general start up checks including
check weighers and metal detectors before production commences and then report
and action any issues where appropriate.
Monitor and record all Quality standards, ensuring
the quality of the product is maintained, reporting any deviations from the
specification.

Salary and Benefits:
Full time, permanent position
Salary £27,690 for 45 hours
Overtime £14.50, after 40 hours, regular overtime available.
Full training will be given in business procedures and
operating protocols
Our facility operates 7 days per week, with a rota system
in place. Role is 6 days per week.
