Job Description

  • To Ensure product has met the customer specifications
  • Checking labels
  • Complete RAW material checks - pressure testing and brix testing
  • Shelf life samples and testing
  • Complete online quality checks, ensuring product is packed correctly
  • Complete final positive release checks of the quality, before dispatch
  • Complete relevant documentation in a timely manner to ensure all requirements are met
  • Understanding and using the customer order sheets, stock reports on Cirrus (training will be provided)

QC's are also expected to:

  • Have great attention to detail
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Monitor fruit packer performance and report any issues to Management
  • Provide appropriate training to new employees
  • Have a basic understanding of stock control systems
  • To ensure that all employees working within the production areas always adhere to the Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and procedures

Shift Patterns:

  • Sunday to Thursday 
  • Tuesday to Saturday 

Working Hours and Benefits

  • Full time, permanent position
  • Full training will be given in business procedures and operating protocols
  • Salary - £11.56 for the first 40 hours
  • Overtime - £14.45 per hour, after 40 hours
  • Holiday allowance of 28 paid days per annum including bank holidays

Quality Control - Transport Admin, within our Top Fruit pack houses in Hoo, Kent

Job Overview

Stock Control Admin is mainly focused on our bespoke stock control system - Cirrus.  Computer skills are very advantageous.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Stock control for all customers, including daily ensuring updated stock lists are saved to our server
  • Sending orders from Cirrus to the order Team
  • Create allocated stock lists, by Customer for Dispatch operations 
  • Making pallet status changes
  • Open and close lots for the production operations
  • Generate reports for closed lots to specification set by Cirrus Manager
  • Generate labels for third party consignments
  • Assist with Dispatch operations within Cirrus
  • Assist, where needed with Harvest operations within Cirrus
  • Liaise with Pack House for weekly physical stock check
  • Assist with issues as they arise within Cirrus
  • Assist, when needed with cirrus testing
  • Understanding the importance of work processes
  • Ensuring that all employees adhere to Hygiene and Health & Safety Policies and Procedures

Stock Control Admin's Require:

  • Previous experience with a stock control system
  • Strong work ethic
  • High levels of accuracy 
  • Good computer skills
  • Good communication and team working skills
  • English Levels - B1

Shift Patterns Available:

  • To learn varied methods of packing the fruit as per machine requirements

  • Full time, permanent position
  • Full training will be given for customer specifications and packaging requirements 
  • Our packing facility operates 7 days per week, with a rota system in place over 6 days, averaging 50 hours per week
  • Salary - £10.42 per hour basic, with overtime after 40 hours paid at £13.03 per hour
  • Holiday allowance of 28 paid days per annum including bank holidays

We are looking for full time/permanent Dispatch operative to join our Team!

Certifications and Training: Pallet truck and / or reach truck certificates would be advantageous, but not necessary.

Experience required – Minimum one year experience in warehouse or dispatch setting

Physical Fitness and Dexterity: Heavy/Dexterous work including sitting for long periods, manoeuvring in tight spaces, and occasionally lifting heavy objects.

Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately pick, place, and manage inventory. Precision in handling goods to prevent damage.

Efficiency and Productivity: Proven track record of efficient operation, maximising productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Reliability and Punctuality: Consistent record of being dependable and on time, which is critical in dispatch operations where timing is key.

Continuous Learning: Openness to ongoing training and learning new techniques or technologies related to reach truck operations.

Safety Awareness: Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and regulations. A history of operating equipment safely with minimal accidents or incidents.

Salary:

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Machine Setup and Calibration: Prepare and calibrate machinery according to specifications to meet daily production requirements, with a keen eye on output quality and production KPIs.

  • Strong attention to detail, quality control, and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Good math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to manage moderate weights.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.

Job Description

  • Loading / unloading stores

  • Loading tipper lorries
  • Feeding the pack house machinery with fruit bins
  • Learn our stock control system – Cirrus (training provided)

Counterbalance Driver's are also expected to:

Working Hours

  •         Overtime - £15.48, after 40 hours

  • Monday day off
  • 5:30 -16:00 x 6 days ( two 30min unpaid breaks)
  • 13:30-00:00 x 6 days ( two 30min unpaid breaks)
