Irrigation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to become a part of a trusted and dedicated team. The Irrigation Technician is responsible for installing, operating, monitoring, and maintaining all irrigation systems that support apple orchard production. This role ensures trees receive optimal water delivery throughout the growing season, contributing to tree health, fruit quality, and overall farm productivity.


Role includes, but is not limited to:

Operate, inspect, and maintain drip lines, micro-sprinklers, valves, pumps, filters, pressure regulators, and controllers.

Perform routine system checks to ensure proper pressure, flow rates, and distribution uniformity

Troubleshoot issues such as leaks, clogged emitters, pressure loss, and equipment failures.

Monitor soil moisture levels and weather conditions to determine irrigation needs.

Record water usage and system performance

Assist with layout, installation, and seasonal setup of new irrigation zones.

Ensure safe operation of tools and equipment and follow all farm safety protocols.

Requirements 

Previous experience in farming, horticulture, or orchard work preferred

Able to perform outdoor labour in varying weather conditions

Valid driver’s licence 

Flexibility with working hours due to the seasonal and weather-dependent nature of the business

Tractor Driver

We are seeking an experienced Tractor Driver to become a part of a trusted and dedicated team. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, equipment care, and maintaining orchards to the highest standards.


Role includes, but is not limited to:

Operating farm equipment (including forklifts, telehandlers, platforms, etc.) in line with experience and certification

Conducting regular checks and maintaining all farm equipment in good working order

Following the principles of safe handling and application of pesticides

Ensuring spray application records are completed and up to date after each spray round

Maintaining orchards to the highest possible standards

Following company Health & Safety regulations at all times


Requirements :

Previous experience in farming, horticulture, or orchard work preferred

Experience operating tractors and spray equipment

PA1, PA3 certification preferably but not mandatory

Physically able to perform outdoor labour in varying weather conditions

Valid driver’s licence
