Winners Medway Business Awards 2016.

The whole team are delighted to have been named winners of The Medway Business Awards 2016. The awards were announced at a fantastic gala dinner at the Priestfield Stadium, Gillingham on Friday 18th November. We are all very proud to be Medway’s leading fruit growing business and to receive recognition from our local business community is really important to us. 

Carol Ford, Commercial Director comments: “This is a fantastic achievement to be named the overall winners of The Medway Business Awards, 2016 and it is also great for all our staff living locally in Medway, to get this well-deserved recognition. 2016 has been a very busy year for the whole team, with the construction and completion of our new £10 million packhouse and cold storage facility at Flanders Farm Hoo, along with planting 175 acres of new orchards just along the Peninsula at Turkey Hall Farm. This is we believe the largest new orchard planting in Medway for a number of years and the area’s unique climate helps us to grow some of the best quality and tastiest apples and pears in the country.”
