An easy recipe which can be made at any time of the year and kids will love them. Serve with a selection of seasonal vegetables.
1.1kg /mince pork (ground pork)
2 Bramley apples, peeled, cored and finely diced
2 large garlic cloves, finely diced
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 tablespoons ground sage
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Salt & ground black pepper for seasoning
Heat the oven to 215° C.
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Combine all of your spices and the pork into a large bowl.
Mix thoroughly and add in the apples, seasoning well.
Make 30-40 meatballs with the mixture. Spread them evenly on the baking tray.
Bake meatballs in the oven for 25-30 minutes until they appear golden brown.
Serve with wholegrain rice, pasta and a selection of seasonal vegetables.
