Orchard activity.

Activity in the orchards is getting busier now and most of the blossom has finished and the fruit buds are beginning to form. Our busy team are out and about checking progress daily. Thanks to the modern planting methods we use, each of our trees has an individual diet of water and nutrients so that they stay healthy.

When the trees are in blossom, we welcome pollinating insects and bees into the orchards and after that, we encourage other beneficial insects such as woodlice, which can help to eat pests.

We continue to keep an eye on the weather but hopefully the growing season will progress as usual.
